There is nothing like the Caribbean breeze, the feel of hot sand beneath your feet or the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks. There is simply nothing like Barbados.
For those of you who don't know, Barbados isn't only the home of the Bajan goddess, Rihanna, but also the home of Fashion Killer - as in I. Having parents who come from Barbados - father born and raised and mother half Bajan, half Jamaican - I always get excited when I come back to this little rock, we call Barbados. The last few days have been spent with my Nikon D5300 in one hand and my iPhone another. From beach to beach, Parish to Parish, my exploration around this beautiful island has been surreal.
Although I was here earlier this year, it's rare that you really get to explore an area. Driving around the island and stopping off - whenever we could - to capture the full beauty and essence of Barbados is amazing. I've really been able to admire and fall in love with my island all over again.
