Street Style with COMB

Ever wanted some sort of mystical invention to scan an outfit and tell you exactly where you can get it and how it can be in your wardrobe. Dying to have those blue culottes Olivia Palermo posted on IG a week ago or looking for something similar because you can’t afford that Balmain dress Kim K wore? Well, I may just have all the answers to your prayers and its just one click away.

Last weekend I hit the streets of London to find some of the finest and trendiest people I could get my hands on (not literally) and wasn’t I impressed.

With outfits that would make a broke girl cry, I was so excited to have that mystical invention right in my pocket named the ever great Comb. The visual search-enabled app allows users to draw inspiration from their style icons and their surroundings. And the best thing about this is that anyone can download Comb for free and upload photos of clothing, colours, or even patterns that inspire them. Comparing the image to its database of more than two million products, the app shows the user similar items that they can buy within the app, and within a variety of different price ranges.

So, here’s what happened when I Comb’d some of my favourite street style pictures:

After cropping your picture the app combs (literally) through their database to find you similar items.

Not only does the app enable you to buy items but you can also start your own wishlist by hitting the COMB’D button

And if you need help on which dress to buy, one swipe to the right and your friends can help you pick, judge and decide. It’s easy

Comb’s social element comes from its tailored feeds, where users
can follow their friends, favourite style icons, fashion bloggers, and more.
Matches can be sorted by style, brand, and price; and can be purchased directly
from retailers without ever leaving the app. Comb also has in-app messaging allowing
users to recreate the social aspect of shopping by sharing opinions, ideas, and
more. With brands and retailers like Topman, Topshop, Uniqlo, AllSaints, The
Outnet and LN-CC, Comb is accessible to any shopper regardless of income. Making this Shazam-like shopping app the best app of the year for every fashionista and changing the face of online shopping.

Thank you to all the gorgeous fashionistas I met last weekend. Don’t forget to give them a follow and Instagram and show them some love!
