The sex toy that’ll change the way you orgasm
If LELO were a woman, she’d be the one that commands attention when she walks into any room, wears Jacquemus to take her bins out, and only knows expensive things. She’s luxurious, sexy and makes her admirers blush just by giving them eye-contact. In short, LELO is the woman we all want to be, or all want to date. Making LELO’s sex toys, the ones we all want on our bedside table.
Described as the creme-de-la-creme of sex toys, I was more than excited when I received a package in the mail that included the LELO SONA 2 Cruise. There are thousands of reviews about this surprisingly light in weight clitoral massager. But I chose not to read any of them. I wanted my experience to be one that held no preconceived ideas about how my body should react to it. Other than one message from a friend, who told me to lay a towel down, I was in the dark.

If I were a woman of few words, this review would read one, “mindblown.” But lucky enough for you my vocabulary occasionally expands further than that. So, let’s get deep into it.
The LELO SONA 2 cruise is a sonic clitoral massager; unlike most clitoral stimulators, the massager uses sonic pulses and waves to stimulate the clitoris, rather than a vibrating motor. LELO states that it stimulates the whole clitoris, rather than just the external parts, as it is said the sonic pulses resonate deep into the internal clitoral structures.
So, how did I find it?
After a good charge, I decided to set the mood. I thought, if I’m going to use luxury for a premium nut, we might as well set a luxurious atmosphere. With a few candles lit, a chill playlist and my SONA 2 cruise in hand, I was ready. What I wasn’t prepared for were the 12 different settings — varying from slow sonic pulses to powerful and fast. I decided the first, second and third settings were the safest, to begin with. I’ve yet to get beyond those.
It’s a super intense sensation that I’ve yet to find with any other vibrator. And while I wouldn’t describe myself as super-sensitive, or one of the ‘lucky’ (depending on your outlook) few who orgasm very quickly from clitoral stimulation, I found myself going from zero to “OHHH MY GODDD” in minutes. This unique massager also unleashes a special kind of gift once pressed harder against the body. The technology acknowledges a harder press and ups the anti; by sending more powerful and intense pulses. In other words, you might just blow your brains – multiple times.
The only downside I found to this small yet mighty toy was the sound. The LELO SONA 2 cruise is much louder than I anticipated. While the sound isn’t necessarily a loud buzz, there’s this vacuum-like sound that comes with it, especially in the moments of repositioning; which did make me giggle a few times. Otherwise, it was love at first pulse.
So, was the towel needed? Yes. Are you guaranteed a premium, luxurious, mindblowing orgasm? Yes. Is the LELO SONA 2 cruise a great addition to your sex toy collection? Yes. Is it worth £129? Yes.
This might just be the gift that keeps on giving during a time when the UK government has advised wearing face masks during sex and advocating for ‘sex with self’.
